Alvin Slaughter & Ahoskie - What a mix!

Alvin Slaughter has become a frequent guest in Ahoskie, North Carolina. He has appeared several times in the Ahoskie-based ministry, Carpenter's Shop Church. This time, Alvin's presence at the first Super Sunday Event was foundational in the outpouring of God's presence and power upon His people.

Known for his strong vocals, Alvin sang his way into the hearts of the 3000 plus crowd at Ahoskie's Amphitheater. Pictured here is the platform response of raised hands and all could sense the presence of God that made Super Sunday a success in the hearts of all who attended.

Alvin Slaughter is known for his investment into the lives of individuals who are often facing life's pressures and challenges. His music is intended to lift the spirit, encourage the downhearted, and inspire all who hear him. You can visit Alvin on the web for music information, calendar, and more at http://www.alvinslaughter.com/ . Alvin Slaughter and Ahoskie, N.C. a great mix...anytime!

Center Grove's Pastor Kiker Extends The Invitation

Pastor Tommy Kiker, Senior Pastor of Center Grove Baptist Church is all too familiar with bringing a service to a close after praying, preparing, and preaching his message in the local church. But it's not every Sunday that a pastor is called to execute the altar service behind the preaching of Dr. David Jeremiah and Integrity Hosanna's Worship Artist, Alvin Slaughter.
Kiker did it with the leadership of the Holy Spirit, just like always. Hearts were touched and people moved to the altar one at the time with a broken spirit. The Ahoskie area pastor stressed the importance of salvation above all and then offered attendees an opportunity to be ministered to by supporting pastors.
Salvation was experienced and all were touched with the presence of the Holy Spirit as Super Sunday exceeded the expectations planners and committee persons. Pictured also is Pastor Paul Edwards, Staff Pastor at Carpenter's Shop Church as he prays sincerely for young people who responded at the altar.

Dr. Ola Gathers Leads Attendees into His Presence

You had to be there on Sunday, September 6th! Super Sunday's Mass Choir under the direction of Dr. Ola H. Gathers led the people of God into the presence of God. Unity? Oh my!!! When the meeting was over, one choir member from Ahoskie's First Baptist Church said, "Pastor Phillips, I have never experienced anything like this in my life!" She wept....and wept....and wept. Unity? I think so. When God does it, He does it well. Voices were united. Hearts were united. And the people of God fulfilled Psalms 133 - "Behold how good and pleasant it is when brethren dwell together in unity." The Psalmist concludes, "There...the Lord bestows His blessing!"
